On September 3rd 2022, the foundation had an interactive session with the beneficiaries of its free NHIS enrolment resident in Abuja. The event has officials of our Health management organisation (HMO) SUNU HEALTH LTD and officials of the National Health Insurance Scheme in attendance.
The beneficiaries had the opportunity of sharing their experience and challenges on the use of the hospitals. The duo of Mr Shem Adah, a community Engagement and Humanitarian Expert from the NHIS and Madam Gladys Iwegbu from the HMO-SUNU Health Ltd provided satisfactory explanations on all issues raised. They promised to get back to individual enrollees on their complaint that could not be resolved at the venue.
The event was well attended with over 30 enrollees in Abuja attending.
